Limited Release Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon
Wine
Robert Oatley Limited Release Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon is made with select parcels of fruit from low yielding, hand harvested Cabernet vineyards in the Barossa Valley.
The wine veers away from Robert Oatley's traditional source for Cabernet Sauvignon, which is Margaret River. It is made in limited quantities.
The fruit is open fermented on skins over 4-6 weeks. The wine is then aged for 12 months in tight grained, low toast French oak, a mix of new and one year old. Rigorous barrel selection determines the final blend.
Deep red purple, Robert Oatley Limited Release Barossa Cabernet Sauvignon is full bodied with ripe black fruit flavours and vibrant tannins. Cellaring potential is 15 years.
